HERE ARE JUST SOME OF THE TRANSFORMATIONS

LOCAL PEOPLE LIKE YOU HAVE ACHIEVED

I've been a member of Collective MCR for just over 2 years, I joined in January 2023. What I have found with the traditional gym was that it puts too much pressure on myself. I had to go there. I had to motivate myself to show up, figure up the programming, go there and then fight with people for the weights. So I thought "how about like, let's do something different". By that time I was also in therapy. So I thought I might as well do that also with my fitness journey. And PT seemed like something good, especially as I was starting my lifting journey. So I thought "how about a professional help me, tell me how to do it properly so that I don't injure myself?".

When I started I was out of shape and without good muscle mass compared to right now. Obviously those are massive changes in body composition and they have changed how I feel about myself. I remember I was trying to get to train from Piccadilly to Piccadilly station, barely a kilometer, I was "okay, I had to jog"... I couldn't run at all. I felt extremely embarrassed about myself. Now I'm the person who wakes up every day at 5:00 AM and does a 5K run. OKay, slow run still but to just have that extra fitness in my life, extra activity. Another thing I realised through being a member of Collective is that cycling, just daily activity, is extremely important for me and my mental health. It took me a month to sign up and even then, looking for a gym, thinking "ok this is a group session, everyone will laugh at me." But no! Everyone in the gym is exactly in the same shoes as you. People in the gym are the people who want to better themselves, demand more of themselves and push themselves because they want to take their life in their own hands. And actually everyone, because of that, realises how hard of a challenge that is. So actually it is the best environment to be when you want to tackle something. It;s like you have a group project, but everyone wants to help you to succeed. The way Collective works is that we have this wonderful trial program, so there is no long-term commitment. Just come and try it, and then you will actually feel the taste of it, how it works and then just continue on your journey.

This gym, or rather the coaches in this gym literally saved my life! I was in a really bad place both physically and mentally. This gym became my refuge and strengthened both my mind and body. I've never been happier, fitter or stronger. Other than the excellent coaches the atmosphere is second to none. All the members are friendly and I've made a few good friends here along the way. This place is a lot more than just a gym!

I joined Collective MCR a couple of years ago and it was the best decision I ever made. The coaches are all so supportive and knowledgeable. They take the time to understand your goals and take a genuine interest in your progress, giving you support or tips when you need it. The programming is done for you and the sessions are always enjoyable which really motivates you to show up. The members are all great too, everyone is welcoming and so supportive. The whole environment is such a positive one which can be so hard to find in a gym. Absolutely the best gym l’ve been to!
